I have a 4 stage RO/DI unit that I use and I have a well, no town or city water here.

I bet you its the darn food when I think about it. I feed that San Fran Bay frozen junk.

When I get back from vacation I am ordering Rod's food from Marine Depot...It seems that is the best place to get it....unless anyone else knows a cheaper place!!!!

I really like PE Mysis myself, lots of nutrition and not just fillers like some others. I ran out of PE and had to use some other brands for awhile and I could really tell the difference between them.

It can take several months or more to remove PO4's from a system as all the rocks sand have absorbed it and it may take several months for them to leech out totally into the water column to be absorbed and bound up with any Media I find Rowaphas to be the better of all I have tried ..

I don't know about PE, but I used San Francisco Bay Brand, and still use H2OLife, and neither of them has fillers or binders on their mysis.

I found San Fran and Hikari to be mostly water while the PE has very little water. PE also gut loads their mysis before packing so its is more nutritious.
