I am experiencing some tissue receding on a Euphyllia Ancora (Hammer) and am trying to nail down the cause.

All parameters match a second tank that is doing phenomenal. The only difference is that in the one with the problem I have just added a Tunze Wavebox 6215, this is in a 110 tall. The wavebox will easily make a 4" wave in the tank, but I had turned it back to about a 1.5" wave. From searching I have read that too high of flow will "strip" LPS.

I have just adjusted the wave to about 0.5" - 0.75"

    Comments, suggestions?

Move it to a protected area if possible. Other wise you seem to be on the right path.
