    His buddys light broke. Seeing how he is getting out of the hobby I doubt he is going to pay for new lights. So the OP has little option but to put them in his tank. I think they will be fine as long as they where healthy before the lights out.

    I also forgot to mention although not LPS, I had some zoa's get mismailed 3 day mail instead of overnight before and they were just fine.

    Could just be a fuse or something. Or if bulbs maybe he can find some old ones lying around. I don't know the full situation. I said if there is any way possible, I understand there may not be, but worth a try if there is a temporary solution IMO.
