LR glue

    I searched 3reef and read through several long threads trying to find this.


    I have one piece of LR that I don't trust to stay put. I want to glue it in place.



    I read super glue gel can be used but that it isn't strong enough for rock, just frags. What should I use?

    Search some of the online aquarium stores. They make a glue just for this

    Drill the 2 rocks and use an acrylic rod or pcv to attach the 2

    that would probably mean dismantling the rock work. I'd stick with the epoxy.

    the epoxy is usually a PITA and doesnt end up working anyways(when applied under water, failure is pretty much certain). Drilling, acrylic rods, and epoxy are the only surefire way to keep LR together...even then it sometimes fails(like when your girl lifts an entire 70LB structure by the top shelf :().

    she only managed to get the top shelf out of the water...poor rock structure I worked so hard on. ;)
