So I pulled a piece of LR that had been on my shallow Crushed coral bottom out to superglue a LARGE piece of PBN to.

So while it's sitting on a paper towel, I see this small tentacle like thing sticking out of a hole, and slowly wiggling around like testing the air!
    I thought- cool!
It was small, dark colored, and pointy like a tentacle.

Not wanting to disrupt it any further, I put the rock bck in the tank.
I haven't seen anything quite like that in my display before.
Sorry, no time to shoot a pic
NO point of this post, just sharing an observation

We used to have a some worms like that in 85 tank. I know they're dark colored but I think it also had a bunch of shaded rings. They get pretty long too, a few long ones would reach probably 4-5". They never seemed to bother anything but just picking stuff off of rocks around its hole.

Thanks Bob, haven't seen it before, or since for that matter.

May have been, it was very small though, and the appendage I saw sticking out was veryh small and tapered to a point.
