    i am changing out my bioball for LRR the rubble it is fully cured there is even fish in the LRR tank. my question is how many pounds can i add without getting a "mini cycle" that will effect my fish/coral?????????:confused:

    if its fully cured then you shouldnt have one. there will always be a nitrate spike if its not kept in water for a while though. you should be fine. How much where you going to add and what size tank?

    It's a 50 gallon and I was thinking like 8 pounds from a lfs

    You could cure it in a bucket in your own saltwater prior to adding it to your tank for a few days if you're really worried about it.

    8 lbs in a 50 gal. that should be fine. i dont think thats too much rock to add. go for it
