LTA feeding

    picked up red foot last night and from what i understand they need to settle before you feed them the first time. mine seemed to be settling in almost immediately. only shifted a little bit, but seemed to pick a spot up front which was kind of nice. this morning it seemed to be well on its way to burying into the sand.

    do i need to wait before feeding it? just seemed pretty quick for settling based on LTA stories i've read on here. thanks!

    oh and please ignore the algae on the glass! lol

    Give it a few weeks. When it's tentacles get really sticky then it's ready for a small chunk-o-fish.

    i thought they eat twice a week? really wait that long?

    I very seldom feed my Rose and it does great. It has a main diet of light. and good clean healthy water.
