lue Spiny Lobster

I have been looking to get one of these for a while since they have no damaging claws and look really awesome! Question is...has anyone ever had one in a reef tank? There isnt really anything in my tank that is too slow to get away from it besides a brittle star and my urchin....Would this be alright to add to a reef tank?

 

well to tell you the truth they practically NEVER come out so thats why I don't have one

 

I have one in my 60 gal cube I've been trying to catch him but hes def. found a hole and probably wont come out until he out grows that hole. But hes actually a good dood. He leaves ALL my fish alone, GSM, 2 engineer gobys, starry blenny, leaves my shrimps/crabs alone cause hes to slow. I love watching him, he climbs everywhere,pretty entertaining.. Reason why i first initially wanted to take him out was because i was told theyre a pest and one man wrecking crew, so it scared me. But if you get a small one i think you will be fine. Hope this was hopeful.

 

Really? Well I'll just say you have to be lucky if he comes out because I've heard you hardly ever see them

 

i've never seen one not hiding under a rock at fish stores. maybe they only come out at nite
