    For the lyretails and other larger species, I'd agree that you should only have 1. If you went with something like bartlett's, then you might be able to do more.

    I had 3 red saddles and now only have one because they killed each other off. They would lock mouths and everything. One died because his mouth licked open after a fight and he couldn't eat well anymore. These are a small species Anthias.

    True!!! Anthias have a SUPER high metabolism. Alot of people are not successful because they dont feed them enough!!;)
