lyretail refuses to eat for last 8 days

we'll he didn't make it. only fish I've had die on me with this tank. he was a beauty, hope I can find one in the future that actually will eat.

 

sorry for your loss. Anthias fish are hard to keep..... a lot of it has to do with the fact that they are deepwater fish and depends on how they catch them. If you do decide to get another anthias (I love them) they do better with frequent feedings........i had an automatic feeder feed mine 3x a day

 

I'm sorry for your loss as well. It's hard to lose an animal but you tried very hard to help him/her and sometimes that's all we can do.

 

Thanks guys. and yes I wish I was able to feed more often. I did my best to try and feed him some frozen stuff early in the am before i left for work but usually he would not even come out that early so it was mostly wasted. I wish there was a device that would allow me to auto feed frozen food, but I have yet to find one.

Due to all my different frozen foods I was trying to get him to feed I completely over fed the tank and my No3 jumped thought the roof. So now it's just flake for awhile.
