MACNA 2013 was easily one of the best ever. There were tons of coral frags - more than previous shows. There were great speakers - I learned a lot about SPS discipline from John Coppolino and the challenges of breeding from Martin Moe. The location was beautiful and right on the beach. I came home with a strange tan, a painful lesson about walking in wet sandals and a craving for more Cuban food. Oh and I also took a bazillion photos. Here are over 100 photos of MACNA 2013. Enjoy.

MACNA 2013 had the frags, the speakers and great aquarium products - but I will look back on MACNA 2013 fondly for the great outdoor reception in a gorgeous setting that even had a guy that would hand roll a cigar for you.. for 5 bucks! Also for a tired Tony Vargas that gave it is his all - he told me a story about making the rounds before he went to sleep - checking every single tank on the floor to insure that there were no surprises in the morning. Great job Tony. I will also smile when I think of MC Richard Ross juggling knives while balancing on a barrel - and for the enthusiasm of Richard Pyle that could not be squelched by helium at 300 feet. Lastly for the all the great people in this hobby that I spoke to. There are some really smart people doing great things that are exciting. This hobby is not dead by a long shot. More than ever, it is dynamic and growing in new ways. MACNA was a reassurance.

I look forward to MACNA 2014.

Yay, look at the guy at ReeferTees with the tee Vinny submitted!

Matt did you buy the FarSide tee with the octo, I would have been hard press to pass that up.

I would have been a kid in a candy store with all those designer clown for my choosing. Love the mangrove designed fuges...

Nice to see so many of the vendors faces as well.

What is up with guy with the skateboards hair lol, that gets a big thumbs up for creativity.

Who do I spy in the Reef Nutrition booth?

Fantastic pic of you and Cam.

Hope you brought home some goodies as well.

What are some of those rimless cubes? Besides the fluval that is. Mainly the ones that are pictured drilled.
