Family there or not, you'll want to stay at the hotel. Unless they're walking distance away and you don't drink that is.

And this is coming from someone who very, very rarely has more than 2-3 drinks!

 

Agreed it will not be the same experience and I don't drink at all. I remember one where we had the booth for Seahorse.org. There was one couple that had not gotten rooms at the hosting hotel. They had some pretty sad faces when they were saying good night to wander back their way while we were making epic memories throughout the hotel in the middle of the night. I remember watching Felicia go, thinking to myself "That really sucks". With this one, the hotel is across the street, which I don't like as much.

We'll see. Better for me to buy tix, and stay with family as my work schedule is so hectic, I never know if plans I make will work out. Oh, and I drink like I'm in college. Family lives downtown somewhere...have to see how far the stumble home would be.

 

I'm pretty sure I convinced my dad to go I just have my fingers crossed that he won't change his mind or that anything stops us from going.

 

Will MACNA ever be in canada(or vermont!)?pretty sure the "na" stands for north america and im feeling excluded! No chance of me getting to denver...

 

I think it would be too tough for alot of vendors to get coral to Canada to make it a big draw.

 

Yeah from what I've heard it's a big hassle to transport livestock across the border.

 

I'm super excited for my first MACNA! It would be a shame if I couldn't make it since I live about 5 miles from the convention center.

 

Make sure to get the full access pass. Trust me when I say it's worth it. I'm REALLY going to try to make it next year.
