Im sorry Craig i meant" reverse daylight photopreriod"
cause I dont want something that will easily reproduce into the main tank. Or is 24/7 lighting better?

I've been using an 18 watt normal output light on my refugium 24/7 and so far so good. No asexual activity so far and I have three different macro algaes.

What do you mean by asexual activity? We are starting a starting a refugium for our 180g. We threw a couple of different types of calurpa in it. Should we reconsider what kind of calurpa?
