I took some actinic shots the other night, but thought it would be fun to pull out the 100mm L Macro lens and get some day shots. Most of these were shot at 1/1000th - 1/4000th shutter, ISO100 (all), f/11 and a 580EXII flash between -3 and +3, with the majority at 0.

I have no idea how big they'll pop up here, so if they're too big, I'll resize them. Comments more than appreciated! Also, suggestions for other corals to add would be welcomed as well.

While the T2i is an amazing camera, it's really all of the gear together that yields those pictures. For those interested:
    Camera: Canon T2i
    Lens: Canon 100mm f/2.8L Macro
    Flash: 580EXII

    All shots were handheld.

That blasto was one I saw in the store and said "I have to have it!"... I just wish it'd start growing over the rock it's on some more. I bought that rock just for the blasto, drilled a hole in it and epoxied the frag plug into the rock... now it's just a waiting game I suppose. It's almost completely covered the frag plug though. I'll make sure to provide it more direct feedings to see if I can't encourage even faster growth. I'm spot feeding as many mouths as I can cyclopeeze, mysis and brine shrimp.

I'd appreciate any other feedback, and/or suggestions for another coral.

Fantastic photos. I like day shots better than actinics. I hate not being able to see the colors when everything's blue LOL.
