    Hello
I have just had a calerpera macro algae die of if was the bubble type
and was wondering if i should be on the lookout for any possible resulting problems. i have some other types of macro algea still doing fine.
Since this dieoff my blue tank has been scratching himself on the rocks.
Can these dieoffs put any sort of toxins into the water.
in my case the algaes where in a refugium.
    Thanks for any advise

No just keep some carbon in the system.. How did that happen ? anything possibly change to stress it out ? Heat or cold light change addative to the sysem ? Or to thick in the fuge ? All I doubt is dead keep some. Of just pull out the dead stuff ..

I like to dose some iron into my tank to aid in the health of my macro.
As Tangster stated add carbon and I would also do a water change!
