I just saw this posted on twitter. Anyone see this before? Apparently its only like 15 bux and is a macro lenses in a rubber band. I think I may have to make the gamble after the new year when I'm aloud to spend money on myself lol.

I've never seen that one before. But some people on NR were talking about these for the iPone. I'm not sure how well they would work on different model phones.

They actually took some nice shots.

Im not sure if i believe that is as good as its advertising. With Photography and macro shooting its about your lens, and how close you can get to a subject. Most macro lenses are like 100mm, compared to this eleastic band which is half a militler.

i think youd get better shots doing something like this.

I agree that that will undoubtedly take pictures but if you already dropped how much on the actual macro lens why not spend the couple hundred bux on a used body and have a real dslr? My point was this things only 15 bux and if it lets me take better close ups with my phone it'd be worth it to me regardless if its a true macro or not.know what I mean?

If you buy an slr lens, you might as well just buy the actual camera. Of course, that would be the best option (thought maybe not the most economical for some) for taking photos.

But for $15-20, I'd say go for one of the above and see how well they work for you. It's not much to loose.
