    I think hanging it would be the best bet but im not sure how to do it with that particular light.

    I think that idea should work quite well for holding the fixture above the tank.

    Looks good, only thing would be the cord hanging out the back...also be sure the light won't heat up the material you use for sitting the light on too much

    The Cord could be a bit of an issue, i could try to use pvc to decretely take it to the outlet. It comes with little legs with glue on the bottom so i could make sure the dimentions are correct and glue it to the bracket, no problem.

    There is this hair like "stuff" on one of the Live Rock pieces, im just curious to what it is. I know about Green Hair Algea and how it can take over a tank, but this is more of a Orange/Yellow color.

    great idea on using lego!i think it is a kind of hair algae
