Made the leap--own two corals now

That's unfortunate. Maybe one day I can offer you some experience, but for now, it's the other way around!!

Having never owned corals until now, I'm wondering what's going on with my zoa's. The unaffected polyps look fantastic, but there's a spot where about 3 polyps have stopped opening. It's been this way for the last 3 days. I spot fed it some DT's phytoplankton with a turkey baster, and all went well. I didn't touch it with the baster, but that's the last time I saw them open.



Will they open back up? Does this sort of thing happen frequently? Is something wrong?

I should mention that the mushrooms; added and purchased the same day look absolutely fantastic, I did a routine 20% water change, and all parameters were at expected levels.

They should come around. Mine did the same thing once in a while...
