    I do have a filter on it for now until I mod another 10gal I have laying around and install the needed dividers.

    My Mag 7 came with it already. I have 3 Mag 7s. One on my skimmer on my 90gal, one running my 29gal, the third is brand new in the box as a backup.

    I clean it once a month.

    I thought the main concern was running the mag9.5 through a pipe then what was less then ideal...but yeah better to have to much then not enough...allthough you don't wan to much running through the fuge...although fuge flow is a whole different debate lol...but either one is a great return. I have a 9.5 running my return and I have a 65ish display and a 40 sump, but I feed my fuge with return water.

    1+ all my drain water goes into my refuge as well. IMO I get a better filtration that way.
