    Not in my TANK!.........lol

Not sure but good question, I would just pay the extra money for the stuff designed for a tank.

Hmm, that is interesting. I know that there are a lot of products out there that have the "same" ingrediants as stuff for the tank...but I am not sure if their are designed the same. Maybe there are different %s of stuff in them etc...

thats what i am wondering, i am sure a simple search would reveal the product percentage and stuff, i also ask because i know baking soda can be used to raise alk and it is just sodium carbonate

Well I'm not up for it this time. I have too many PMs to deal with and too many people here trying to help see through all wildreef's b.s. "advice". Just stick with Epsom Salt that has been proven for ages to safely work to raise magnesium, and baking soda that has been proven for ages to raise Alk levels. There could be other impurities in that chalk too, and I'm not sure it would even be more finacially cost-effective than using the above stated proven tank supplements.

Try and obtain a MSDS sheet on it.

Material safety data sheet. Usually something you can download in a pdf format.
