    Thats what Magnesium does . I'm sure there are a few here that could really get into the science of it ? But Not me :)
    The Magnesium simply put is the emulsifier to mix the two oppositely charged ions of Carbonates and Calciums alone these two would want to bond with one another as the opposite ends of Magnets . But the Mag. turns them in to Velcro :) Get the Mag levels on up to 1400 and watch the DKH or ALk. levels you may have a stable Ca level at the expense of the Carbonate levels ..
    Now this is just what I know from my experience for what ever thats worth ? Maybe someone can Google up a link to an article with the more in depth science of it ?
