    Salifet, Seachem or Redsea?

Also, with a calcium reactor, what will I have to keep checking as far as Calcium, Hardness, pH and Magnesium once drips are set? How often do you monitor once you set your drips???

Anyone with a Schuran Jetstream know what the 2 bottom 1/8" blue lines are for?
I ran the water T'd off the return to the top where the ball valve is but was told that is really inaccurate way to add flow into the reactor (dunno why they put it there then?) and that's what the bottom right blue hose is for... the other being air inlet. Is this true?

Thank you to all for your help.

Thank you. I am looking for any info on all of the above so I appreciate your advice.
I hear the salifert is really good and pretty accurate but for the price you don't use it often and it might go bad. (That's what was on the forums and stuff when I googled it).

    Thank you for the reply.

I use the Redsea Mag test kit. It's what was available when I ordered.

I like the seachem personally. Red Sea's is good, but a little too much of a PITA to use. And I just don't like salifert due to their track record.

Man, you guys picked every single one!
You had to spread it out to bust my b*lls didn't you... lol.
The prices vary and I really just want an estimate.
I know I had a problem getting my calcium up using Reef advantage
until I added Tropic Marine magnesium... now I'm at 480-500 calcium.
So I REALLY wanna know where the magnesium is at for it to be so high.
That way I can buffer either way when I get this reactor set properly.

Thank you all for your replies!

I use the Salifert mag test.
As for testing using a CA reactor. Once it's dialed in (testing probably every day for a week or two to make sure it gets set properly) I'll probably just test once a week to make sure.
