Magnetic coral mounts?

I have seen this done for frags and frag racks, but what kind of corals are we talking about here? Will sps actually encrust on the glass? I've seen monti caps bend and grow up in the direction of the glass, but they dont actually encrust on the glass itself.

 

I have a sunset monti that's encrusted onto the glass. Actually, it may be encrusted onto the coralline that built up there originally. You could also put branching SPS on there and just use it as a way to make the most of the water area available.

The big problem with the AquaMag is that it took FOREVER for the monti to bridge that gap. An extra 4-5 months as far as I can tell.
