Have just picked up a stunning blue magnifica anenome from the LFS, it is about 20 inches across and has a pair of ocellaris clownfish, I already had a magnifica with clownfish so I have divided the tank with egg crate, the new anenome has settled into its new area expanding and waving as they do in the wild. I will try and post a picture tonight. The original anenome has been in the tank for about 8 months.

In australia we are fortunate in some areas of hobby being able to purchase good quality anenomes for example, so the transport was one big bag in a 20kg polystyrene box. In the picture the anenome was only half extended. Once it has settled in I will post more pics. Thanks for the comments.

    Absolutely beautiful!

I had a Ritteri years ago that did well in spite of my ignorance.

Any tips on keeping these cultured reef? What size tank, maintenance, etc.. if you have time.

If you are interested in writing an article on anemones for 3reef let me know.

Hi Matt I would love to write an article on anenomes and their care, it may take a bit of time as my wife is currently going through breast cancer treatment and I am setting up our new display tank which will be a 480 gallon reef. W also have our own jewelery business so I am at work 6 days a week and we also have 4 teenage children.
