Magroves (bulk rate?) I need alot!

From what ive read on a couple of sites you need 1 Mangrove per 2 Gallons of water to really get the benifit of them. that would be around 150 of them

I have a 50 Gall. big round and short container and I am thinking about getting mangroves to put in it and add to my system.

Anybody know where to buy in bulk?
I would hope i could get a better deal that way
or is that way overkill and I wouldn't need that many?

 

I would say overkill but the best place to talk to is reefcleaners.org, I would call them and they could advise you and probably give you a great deal. I've yet to see an unhappy customer of theirs

 

Talk to Luna--He can harvest them and send them to you for the cost of shipping. I dont know if they are still in season, or if he nwill charge you anything.

+1, for a 300 gallon tank like 20-30 should be fine. Mix it with some chaeto and you should be good to go.
