Maintenance for Skimmer ASM G2

So I have had my skimmer running for about six months and I am sure it needs maintenance like every other piece of equipment in this hobby;D;D. I did not receive any instructions as to how to clean it when I bought it. Is it basically the same as any other pump... Just take it apart rinse it and put it back together? There is no poor performance, just little white stuff like debris collecting that annoys me....

 

I have to clean my G2 about every 3 months, I pull the venturi valve off the pump and remove the air hose, i run it under super hot tap water for about 5 minutes, just sit it in a plastic cup and let the water run on it, then I run a pipe cleaner through the air hose inlet to clean the gunk out, then let it dry off and put it back together, other than that and cleaning the collection cup thats all the maintenance I do on mine
