Anyone out there have HO steam engines? I would like to.now if they are hard to maintain. I will only run it at Christmas time under the tree. So the train will only run for a few weeks out of the year and a few hours a night, if that. Any troubles with these engines? I bought a USRA light 2-10-2 Pennsylvania brand new for all hell of a deal!

Heres a link that may help. What brand is it?Bachmann?

That particular model has a hard time making sharp turns because it inherits the flaws from the locomotive it was designed to replicate. It can pull alot of weight though and as long as it goes slow it should be fine.8)

Very cool Locomotive!!!!I hope that link helps somewhat.I tried doing a search for that particular model and found a pdf file on it from Walther but it wouldn't download.I myself have never run steam power so I can't help with the maintenance but maybe you'll get lucky and someone else will chime in with some good info.Good luck.
