    You can move to NYC and be a aquarium maintenance guy. I did that 13 years ago and was making $75 - $100 dollars a visit plus tips at the time. I made more doing that a few hours a week than all week at the retail fish store. It's not glamorous though.

    I do some tanks on the side but nothing really big.I wish I had more time to do more...still love it

    Thanks alot for all your help, one more question tho, how do you drip in the kalk at night? Im assuming there is sum sort of mechanism to do this for you that you can make yourself or buy as i imagine standing there all night with an eye dropper would get a lil tedious =P

    Here is what I am using...

    You could also set one up using an old soda pop bottle, with airline tubing...not touching the bottom because there will be sediment after mixing and you do not want to use that. Set it up higher than the tank or sump, create a siphon, and tie a knot in the tubing. Loosen or tighten the knot to get faster or slower drip. ;D
