+1, boiling water in a syringe should do the trick. I've also heard lemon juice works as well but never tried it. Best of luck to you.

I've killed aiptasia with kalk paste. I used a little mrs. wages pickling lime, added a few drops of RO/DI and mixed into a paste. With a syringe, squirt the pest and it should die off. Don't use it right next to corals, 4" or 5" is enough space. Never killed manjanos with it but I would think you'll get the same results. Pickling lime is like $3 for a big jar and can be found at most supermarkets etc.

The problem with injecting is that there are just too many. I can't possibly keep up or get all of them. Also, if part of the anemone gets away alive, it will grow a new anemone.

I really doubt the filefish is going to take care of your problem with majonos. This fish has a reputation of wasting away within a couple of months. Just because it is eating does not mean it is recieving the foods that it needs to survive. I hate to see this fish for sale for this reason.

There is a piece of equipment that electocutes them, easy and efficent. Do a youtube search and you should find it.

    Good Luck.

I've been reading a lot about these filefish, and it sounds to me like their diet is misunderstood. I'm not sure but it sounds like they need plant and algae matter, but people only feed them meaty foods. I've read about people having relative success with them, and I haven't read much about a reputation for wasting. I will, however, take that under advisement for a decision.

Berghias are tough to find and I don't want to throw something in there just to die off later. I don't think that's responsible reef keeping.
