    Why not use glass for the baffles? Acrylic will not adhere to glass well, as silicone does not bond to glass. The silicone will just hold it in place and if you don't use enough, the baffles will work their way loose. If you do decide to use acrylic sheets, make sure you leave a 1/16" space to allow the acrylic to expand when it warms or it will crack the glass walls.

    You really need to test the system as well before you cut the baffles. The water hieght needs to be set so it will leave enough room for the DT to drain and break siphon without flooding in case of a power outage/return pump failure. Just something to keep in mind.
