got an idea, and it works! I got (x2) a fish feeder with 7, airtight, water tight holders. Every day i dose 2.2 ml of calcium. One of the feeders pours 2.2 ml of calcium into the tank every day (there are 7 slots, so it goes off every day obviously). The other one is set to dump every week, in 4/7 of the holders, there is magnesium, essential elements, iodine, and alk. Good idea? ill keep you posted and tell you if its successful. These will both be placed in my sump.

That would be a doser, not a reactor ;)

As long as you only need to dose one thing per day it sounds reasonable as long as it's air tight so no evaporation can happen and as long as the doser does a good job of emptying each section so nothing is left over it sounds like it might work. Also you only mention calcium, but what about alalinity?

Ya the sections are air and water tight, i silicone the sides and tested it. I dose alk every week, not day. I mentioned that in the 2nd reactor. When the doser "1" (with calcium) turns and releases a cartridge until the next day when it has to release another one, that one cartridge stays open exposed to the surface of the water so every last drop will get out eventually.

well for the 2nd doser with alk, mag, iodine ext its on a timer so i set it for all of them to go off on one day of the week. Ill give you the brand in a little, i forgot it and its not clearly written on the feeder.

    Thanks!
