i can assure you that everyone on this board is going to disagree with adding fish to a system that is 3 days old. although if all of the rock/sand was from a previoulsy cycled system it will be ok.

I am not trying to be funny and I do appreciate all of the help...honest but I do believe from talking to several friends who have successful systems that some people do tend to over complicate things.

    Wait for it.

If the rock was cured you will likely not have a huge ammonia, Nitrate spike. But what you will encounter is the lovely algae blooms that come with a new tank.
Hope all your fish make it.
But it's hard to over complicate a the fact that your 3 fish will likely produce more waste than your rock can handle.

I even think it goes further than the rock and sand being from another tank. The filters, water and anything in the tank is still new... That is why you don't change all the water in your tank at one time(water changes) You gotta leave the good stuff in and it grows with the tank. Good luck with adding the fish, but remember, you are playing with live animals........:-/:worried:

No B.S. here either....probably a couple of hundred years combined experience at 3Reef.

An LFS is not always the best source for quality information. Remember, his bottom line agenda is to sell you fish, lots of fish. :-/

Ricky, where are you from? Your info from the LFS sounds like the one here.

The more they have you kill, the more you will buy from them.
