Ok guys I have a rather silly question sorry.... We just started our saltwater tank in fact its still in cycle so there is nothing currently living in it. During the time that its been set up to cycle (boring as can be!!) we have used the time to research our Clean Up Crew and the fish we want to add. So I have started researching the best thing to feed these guys and I found a wonderful thread http://www.3reef.com/forums/tropical-fish/variety-spice-life-47281.html however, our planned fish aren't carnivorous (well I guess some of them include meat in their diets but its not a predatory tank) so I don't think I can feed that recipe. I want to give these guys the best stuff I can right from the start so that I can keep the tank as healthy as possible. It's a 55Gallon FOWLR tank that will include: 2 False Perc. Clowns 1 Royal Gramma 1 6Line Wrasse 1 Bicolor Dwarf Angel Thats it....I know the Angel eats Mysis with his pellet/flake and the Gramma likes Brine but I'm not sure how to get a good mix of food these guys will all thrive on. This may not be the best place to ask this but thought I'd give it a shot and see if anyone could offer any advice on a good homemade variety mix I can give them. Thanks in advance.

Actually a lot of your fish are carnivores. Royal Gramma, 6line wrasse are both considered carnivors.

    Clowns and angels are omnivores.

In my 100gal I have a Royal Gramma, and two false percs. I feed them pellets and every few days I feed them frozen plankton. On specially occasion I will chop a few pieces of krill (that I keep for mantis food mostly) into thirds and toss them in.

I feed every other day, on time mysis or brine, then flake the next time and alternate. I will also added veggie waffers or seaweed when I had my Coral Beauty. And if your clowns are like mine they will eat anything you offer. Mine would go to town on the seaweed before my coral beauty could even get to it, the little pig! :p
