I have a $250 budget for my Corals and I plan to order some time this week, looking for suggestions for good beginner Corals. One of my favorites is the Sun Polyp Coral, just love em" but I heard not so easy to keep, thats why I am seeking advice from you guys ;)

Yeah I'd stay away from that one to start. They are light sensitive and require feedings.
What kind of light do you have? What type of corals do you want - LPS, SPS or?

+1 To what Matt said. On a side note your scape is really natural looking. Very nice!

I have 4 39W T5 HO, Will I am fond of both the SPS and LPS, seen a couple of soft corals I like, is it the feeding of the Sun Polyp were I can run in to problems? to the right you see a cave, I thought perhaps glue one to the underside of the top rock that makes that cave, with some adjustment I can give him some good water movement in there.

Is my lighting sufficiant for the stony corals?

Zoas are my faovirtes! Candcane or trumpet corals are nice looking and easy. Alot of people love hammers/frogspawn corals. Start with the branching variety not wall type. Ricordea and mushrooms are nice but mushroom can become a problem with prolific reproduction! I personally would stay away from GSP, Anthilia, Xenia, and other softies as they are like weeds, and in the future can hinder your ability to move to sps.

Thanks Norg! See all the rubble in the sand bed, lots of small pieces has been breaking off the rock, even seen a snail break off a piece from just being on it, is that normal?

ohhh! I already got some shrooms, rescued them from Petco, they had them listed for $19.95 down from $39.95, since they were near death, they have improved greatly since putting them in my tank even though I haven't even been set up for a month yet, they kill way to many animals over there, sad!

I am a big fan of the pumping Xenias too.

reefs2go has a decent deal on 5 diff zoa colonies total 25 for $50 with free shipping.

If you don't mind getting smaller frags and letting them grow, check reefs2go.com and salt critters.com out for some cheap small frags.
