    I knew you were 14 hours ahead of me. . . its my math that stinks unfortunately....its 9 PM here.... :D

    I have many friends in the USA that I correspond/chat with and the time differences can be annoying and confusing for me too. Particularly at this time of year when we are not on daylight savings time :)

    Sorry, that got away from me...that post did....
    I am excited because I just ordered my Typhoon RO/DI from Air, Water, & Ice....one of the sponsors here (plug, plug) and that means I am that much closer to acutally getting the tank up and running, better get back to my plans so I can have my sump ready!!!!!

    OK, now forget that last diagram....here is a new one that addresses
    1. The bubble issue....
    2. The critters in the skimmer issue (tho i am not sure how they pass through a return pump any better, but....I will assume they make it OK)
    3. The Bioballs.....GONE
    and
    4. Almost double the area for DSB

    How's this one look? Any other considerations I missed?

    Nice drawing :)

    I'm not sure why, maybe it's just a male thing but I would swap the 8" and 11" partitions on the LHS the other way around. :)

    I did it that way to get the extra floor space for a sandbed....gives me two more inches......er...um...of Sand!!!!! ;D

    Will it trap the same amount of bubbles either way?
