If you're thinking of setting your tank up right there you might want to reconsider. My mother-in-law set up a 33 gal fresh water tank next to a window, not in front of, but next to and she has HUGE issues with algae.

Just my 2 cents . I'd mention about the other stuff, but I don't really know about bigger tanks and putting them together. 12 gal is my biggest tank.

Good luck and show pictures when you get it all going.

If you have done your research id set it up now since you already have LR and sand. Don't want that to die off. What kind of lights and skimmer you have?

Unfortunately i still have The 39g BF running and a 29g with the cured rock so it will have to be a slow progression over to the main tank that is the hope anyway.


I'm hoping to keep JUST one tank instead of the four i have now....LOL
