    My best method for getting coralline started fast to use a tooth brush, and lightly scrub the coralline in front of the return of a power head.

    ...and of course maintaining stable levels.

    -1 on purple up

    sure it works - the constant battle against the purple circles on my front glass are a testimony to its effectiveness ( Fish only with base rock set up, not my reef)

    Im currently using the handle of a Tea spoon as its a very effective scraper that thus far has not scratched the tank at least once a week, trying to keep the viewing panel for viewing
