Well spent most of my afternoon/evening making some overhangs and shade area in my tank. Some of my corals as of late are not doing so hot when I added new bulbs last month and took off my splash guard off my light fixture. It was fun and I'm certainly glad it is done!!

when you say took splash guard off of fixture... is this a halide or t5?
If it is HQI halide, i would recommend putting it back on ASAP because the shriveling up is from deadly UV light, not from light shock

Well heres some pics of the added shaded areas.

Before when Corals weren't too happy

After, you can see some overhangs on leftside of the tank now. Acans are now down low, Candycane is in the sand bottom, misc zoas/palys are moved to shade.

Not so happy CandyCane, you can see what heads absorbed more light. :-/

3 Vertical shots with flash on to show a little more detail of coral positions but the flash kills the color.

    Your tank looks very good.

I had to do a similar restructuring for my sun coral. I know it can be a pain, but it's totally worth it if it helps the corals.

Thank you, yeah it was a little bit of a PIA, but I think the corals will do much better, still might have to move a few more guys into shade.
