    I know what you mean,just got my first decent lights about 6 weeks ago,when i looked into them,they made you lightheaded and woozy feelin,and there only 130 watt pc's!!!

    OMG my halides are so bright it you can see them from down the road on my curtains!!! i dont even need to have the ligths on in my room anymore. lol

    When just my aquablue bulbs are on it looks like a UFO landed in my living room. Looking at the house from the outside all you can see is blue through the windows. Neighbors probably think I'm crazy...

    My halides are so bright I don't have any lights in my living room. You can see the glow from outside my apartment with the blinds closed.

    There was someone in this area that actually had the cops and the DEA show up at his door to "bust" him - people were suspicious of all the light glowing from his house. He said "come on in, what you're looking for is down in the basement" and they were apparently rather shocked to find several very large very bright reef tanks.

    I just upgraded my T5s from the cheap bulbs that came from Marineland to a nice set of UVL bulbs and man what a difference. These good bulbs are soo much brighter than the 10 month old set I was using.
