My halides are incredibly bright! In fact, from down the road it looks like I'm growing 'something' I shouldn't be...

lol now that i actually have my light up on my tank, it really puts my puffer's tank to shame. My 46 is so nice and pretty and bright, where my puffer's 20 gall that's right next it it is all dark, even with the light on

Oh, really? I suggest you read my entry about my husky.

Our husky decided we didn't need to sleep at all today:angry: and then she decided my bf didn't need to see so she ate his glasses. (By the way we both work midnights so we sleep in the day.)

I've done the same with my lights Puffer. I was temporarily blinded, lol. ::)

haha lol it's deffienently a strange feeling, kinda like last night when i woke up to my skimmer, turned the light on my nightstand on to take a look at it, and i couldn't see for a while. I hate that feeling the most, when you wake up to a super bright light and blinds you

Just read your entry...ROFLMAO(laughing with you, not at you). I didn't say I never met a BAD dog. I have two bad dogs, but you would probably think they were angels. Although, I said I have never met an evil dog, I admit I have never met your dog.;D

    End of hijack.

Green spotted puffer. Minimum tank size is really 30 gall. He's by himself in his tank and does fine. I'm still debating on taking him to the lfs or keep him. He's been living in high end brackish so he would do fine in a fowlr

    haha

    This is a funny thread.

It's pretty crazy to look at your lights. I have 2 long bulbs next to each other. One is over a year old and one is newer. The new one is soooooooo much brighter...it puts the old one to shame. But the funny thing is that if you didn't have the new one to compare to then the old one might still look bright.

Even the algae primarily grows on the right side of the tank where the new light is....dang, I need to get the other side a new bulb asap...lol
