Well I swore I would not add a Mandarin until my tank hit 1 yr. Well that time is here, and I have alot of pods. But will a Mandarin and a Diamond get along?? The diamond (in my avatar) was my first fish and is well established.

In a 150 gallon tank with 330 lbs of live rock you should not have any problems.

I was worried about the Diamond beating on him.

I personally see no problem with adding them in a tank that sized... Lots of room for them and it should be easy enough for the mandarin to establish a home :).

You shouldnt have any problems with a those two. Your tank should have plenty of food for them to graze on.

The mandarin will travel all over the tank where as the diamond will stay mostly on the bottom of the tank.

They will be fine. They are two completely different fish. Remember that mandarins are not actually a goby, that is a mistake. They are dragonettes ;)
