yeah, your sixline will destroy your pods. i definitely would not recommend trying both a mandarin and a sixline in your 55. i've got a 50g with 80+ lbs of live rock to which i have added pods to but you'd never know it. the sixline is constantly cruising the rocks for pods

 

**** ok cuz ive heard that six lines will eat pods and wont eat pods from different sources anyone else have any input thanks peter

 

6 lines are very good at eating, so they will eat frozen, dried, and pods.

If you see it picking at rocks, it is eating pods.

 

6lines WILL decimate your pods! I've had great luck getting MDs to eat Ocean nutritution formula 1 small pellets and Orange Flying Fish Roe --you can get this at Asian markets. MY MDs are nice and fat.
