There is no way you can sustain the pod population for a mandarin in a 20 gallon

    +1

And even without the mandarin, the other 2 won't live in peace in a 20 for long.

Surprisingly the clown and damsel are doing great, I set the tank up just right for them.
Also pods don't need to be harvested inside the tank..

A mandarin can eat the equivalent of a bottle of pods a day. The are like the hummingbird of aquaria... how do you plan to feed him?

Give it some time, that much space they will grow tired iLife each other. The thing about mandarins is they eat pods almost grazing style, meaning they wander eat, wander eat. They don't stop except for maybe sleep. So they don't have a feeding time like other fish. So why yes you could grow pods and dump them in to sustain the pods the fish needs you would have to have Luke a pod ATO.

The clownfish and damsel should be fine. I wouldnt worry about them. Ive seen two clowns, a damsel, and an angel kept in a 29 for years without conflict. The dragonette will require a supplement to his diet. Train him to eat. There are lots of threads on this check it out. Despite what many people will tell you and properly trained/eating mandarin can thrive in a nano tank.
