Ok right now I have her in a large bowl, also aerating it. She moves but the goo is all around so she can't move much. I want to leave her be, but I'd have to put her back in the tank to do that. I'm afraid of anything trying to attack her in the tank, or anything eating the goo and getting sick.

Should I keep her in a bowl or put her back in the tank?

I would put it back in the tank.

Can you remove some slime with a baster? That stuff is toxic, I'd be nervous with the small container.

I removed a lot of the slime with a baster, and I put her in a strainer in the tank so she's protected from any of the other fish.

All I can hope for is the best now :(

    Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

i would put her back in turn up the skimmer for wet skim for a day .. on a side note i satarted doing a wet skim 24 hours before a water change i couldent beleve what comes out of the bucket

my skimmer has a overflow hose down to a 5 gallon bucket that i had laying arround i use it to do waterchanges i just skim off 10 gallons one a week and add fresh sw back in

i found my water perams stay more consistant doseing alot less
