I have the pods. If I take a scoop of water from my sump, thats gonna be the same as purchasing a jar.
I'm not concerned about her getting sucked up in the return...its sectioned off. I just didn't want to stress her too much by scooping her up and dropping her in the sump.

Yep...tried the fish eggs, still got that whole container I got from you. I only tried it twice. Same with the mysis, didn't like so I never tried again. I will give both another go and try to setup the mandarin diner for her with the irrisistable goodies. Good point on the shaking of chaeto....I've only swapped chaeto from the display to the sump and vice versa, never really gave it a good shaking.
copepods shouldnt get chopped by the return, maybe amphipods, but copepods are damn near mircroscopic. If grape caulerpa can get sucked through the return without being disinegrated, then the copepods should be able to. and fyi you never opened my response on WRS yet....still sitting in my outbox.

Mattheuw, with finicky fish you need to try things a few times in a row to see anything. Heck I would feed your tank fish eggs everyday for a week or more and see if he starts eating them. If you try once they will question it as food and then forget about it, If you try multiple times eventually they will realize it IS food.

    Good luck

Maybe try oyster eggs? You have to keep putting things in to see anything though....once or twice might not do it.

So I added a few rubble piles from the fuge which instantly attracted her. Took a huge wad of caulerpa and chaeto and violently shook it into the tank, also placed another large hunk of it on the other side of the tank. Fed fish eggs and mysis all over the rock rubble. I couldn't really tell if she had an interest, but she was all over those rocks from the sump.

I tried to scoop her up with the famous green net and as soon as it was in the water she freaked out, must've brought back some bad memories lol. I tried a couple of times but she would get so scared she would jerk in any direction opposite of the net to get away.....so that didn't work out. I think that has to eventually happen though, she is too skinny. I took a couple of pics for everyone last night, but I forgot to get the pics off the camera. So later on tonight for sure. I'm going to continue spraying her rock rubble piles with fish roe and mysis and try to scoop her up to get her in the sump to hopefully fatten her up.

Good to hear that she took interest. Keep at it. It would be great to be able to save her :)

Definitely try live brine as well though, it really worked for me. I think it was the movement. I may just have a weird tank though because even my algae blenny eats weird stuff, LOL.

I think my problem when feeding her foods is that I don't shut off my flow. So fish are going every which way trying to catch her food and the food I blow into the rubble doesn't settle very well. I will try to feed without the powerheads on. Should help a little.

yeah. I just say that because mine won't eat anything that's stationary.
