I turn off my skimmer but I leave my powerheads on unless I'm feeding my corals. I leave the PH on because the fish are attracted to the movement of the food as well as the smell and such.

So your mandarin chases after them.. mine loses interest if the food floats away..lol. BTW is Cyclopeeze the same as the cheaper frozen Cyclops you see in stores? Do you use frozen or freeze dried

Tonight my Mandarin ate all Mysis.. I didn't even put any brine in her feeding syringe. I am now also introducing cyclopeeze with the mysis. NExt.. crushed pellets

I just got mine eating live brine. Won't touch frozen yet but it is a matter of time. She is starting to get her figure back. The pods are going crazy in their new pod piles too. There is hope for my mandarin!

Yay! Start feeding the live brine in a syringe with tubing.. then start mixing live with frozen. You need to get her associating the tube with feeding. Even any mysis she misses that falls to the bottom of the tank she eats. If you want to try that is!
