    I just got a bunch of mangroves yesterday, and the egg crate system works perfect....easy and cheap. I have them in my sump with the roots resting on top of my live rock, so I didn't need to rubberband them to keep the tops out of the water.

    Question though.....will the roots grab hold of the rock eventually? Would that be a problem?

    i use little tupperware cups for frags and mushrooms and plants i dont want getting around
