    Hi everyone.

    So yeah, I'm battling cyano.

Yesterday, I went kayaking in the intercoastal. (I live on the west coast of Fl.)
I beached on an oyster bar, and found like... 3 little tiny white crabs, and about 10 snails. I also picked up two floating mangrove seeds. (naughty, i know.)

I also found a very nice piece of sea lettuce, on a rock near a pier I went by. I have it all in my tank in an in-tank fuge.

Any reason I can't put the sea lettuce inside on a piece of LR? I think it'd look cool. I'm not sure how it sticks though - it was stuck pretty well on the rock I pulled it from. Will it grow? I know nothing about sea lettuce.

You can put it in the DT as long as you have intense lighting. If it is still on the rock use that. If not if there are roots rubber band them to a rock.

I just stuck a small rock in the center of mine to weigh it down and so far so good.
I did this in my DT and fuge both seem to be doing well and have been in there since the beginning of the month.

For the mangroves in 2 tanks I stuck some of them in the HOB filter and the other I rubber banded them to an acrylic rod so the ends hang in the tank.
