    not knowing very much about mangroves, but could i take a clipping from a full grown 1 and get it to grow in my tank?

    Do you have Mangrove trees in your neck of the woods? If you do, they are just hanging from the branches.

    I have been watching my suspended mangroves pretty closely, but have not done much with the guys in the sand. This morning I pulled one of them out and was surprised how much root growth there was. I have had the guys on the poles about 4 weeks and the guys in the sand a little more than a week.

    This is the best looking guy from the bunch I received 4 weeks ago.

    This is from the bunch I received just a little over a week ago. This is what most of them look like.

    All pods did not show any root growth when I received them.

    I just pulled a couple of mine that I got last week just out of curiosity and I have a couple little sprouts smaller then the pictures but im getting excited to grow these things. How long do they take to get leaves once they start the roots?
