Im adding a new pump to the system. A rio hyperflow 32 on a manifold. I sketchy when it comes to these so im not posotive what works here. So here are two I came up with. Don't mind the missing pieces. I need to get them. You can figure out what it's supposed to be.
First runs horizontal from the pump

Second vertical from the pump(missing the bottom "t".

I'm leaning towards the second one but I really have no clue. Which one if any will work. Thanks in advance

If you want to maximize your flow to the DT, the first manifold is likely the best design. If you're looking for a more even distribution, go with the second design.

You need to look at the chart that came with your pump for the head pressure lost for every foot of elevation then divide it accordingly. sounds like you are spreading that pump thin

By all means take a look. This is the chart from the site.

The biggest concerns for me is the DT which tops out at 600gph and the bio reactor which is up to 500gph. The GAC reactor is minimal and the frag tank is really only there if it will work. Please what do you think. I've tried to do the calc on RC for headloss and can't make heads or tails of it. All help is appreciated.

Look at running your main return line up from pump to DT adding a tee at a height so that you 2nd line runs horizontal thats feeding reactors.
